The backbone of 1 Giant Leap’s music is formed by each masterpiece beginning with a pre-composed backing track which then grows and develops as new layers are added. Rather than gathering samples and taking them back to a studio, collaborators were able to hear the contributions made by others before adding their own layer to the tracks. Bridgeman explains, “We have 15 pieces of music we travel with. What we do is give them our beat, or a piece of our music, something that will inspire them.
