How to get from where you are to where you want to go

How to get from Where you are

to Where you want to Go

PB AUD24.95

In the straightforward, engaging style for which she is known, Zen teacher Cheri Huber presents a process for getting where you want to go in life.

This process, which is based on Zen awareness training, is explained here in ordinary language.

It is demonstrably effective for all who are willing to look honestly at themselves. The book tells you how to examine an issue that is causing you difficulty, how to discover the source of the challenge and how to free yourself from the suffering that is created. Step-by-step, you will be able to follow this path to freedom.

Each step is illustrated with examples from Cheri’s life and spiritual practice, as well as from problems that students bring to her. As well, each step includes a ‘survey’ in which you explore your own experiences, emotions, beliefs and patterns of behaviour.

When You're Falling Dive

When You're Falling Dive

PB AUD29.65

Most of us fear that if we fully accept life as it is it means giving up, closing our hearts and minds, and ceasing to care about injustices and difficulties we see in the world. Nothing could be further from the truth.

That fear is based on us confusing acceptance with resignation. Resignation results in quietism; acceptance results in us rolling up our sleeves and getting on with it.

Cheri Huber’s teaching and writing style is refreshing as she mixes wisdom with humour. The book is divided into three sections – What Acceptance is and why we resist – How to Accept and Acceptance Freedom and Possibility

There is Nothing Wrong with

You for Teens

PB AUD29.95

Cheri Huber has assisted so many people with her written work. A student and teacher of Zen for over 30 years, she mixes the wisdom of the Zen tradition with the challenges of modern life.

In this book, she speaks directly to teenagers as they journey through the transition from childhood to adulthood. She collected stories from hundreds of teens across the globe and syntheses the feedback into the core issues facing teens today.

She found the core difficulty that exists in the relationship between teens and adults is mis-communication and the sense of isolation felt by the teens.

Cheri believes a change is possible and so offers this book as guides for Teens to grow into their own power.

There is nothing wrong with you for teens
